Nature Playgroup
Nature Playgroup has been running for the past 8 years at Chyan Community Field in Halvasso, near Penryn. It is run by Alice Wall who set it up to give her boys and the wider community a space to play outdoors with their children.
It has now grown into a wonderful weekly, term-time group for children aged 0-5 and their carers. During the 2 hour weekly session families can play in the mud kitchen, help pick wild food and herbs for tea, build a fire, adventure through willow tunnels and be creative with the seasonally themed activities.

We are now a team of 3 mothers Vic, Alice and Pheobe. All have training, experience in forest school and/or early years education. They also are passionate about nature and individually have a plethora of knowledge spanning bushcraft and plant-uses.

Drop-in available now for this summer term. Come along to any Tuesday during term time and pay £7 (one adult one 1-5 year old)+ £1.50 for additional children over 1 year old. £5 for mother and baby (under 1 year old) Email me for more info. Cash or paypal on the day

These sessions are non-funded and Alice has done has best to keep these spaces within affordable range and therefore Nature Playgroup makes no profit. We rely on our own hard work to keep the space clear and enjoyable and organise regular volunteer days. As busy mothers and workers ourselves we always appreciate extra help. If you feel you have not much money but do have time available, I would be more than happy to arrange a transfer of your time instead of payment for a playgroup.
